Licensed Massage Therapist-

Our studio is currently seeking a skilled, professional, and dedicated licensed massage therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate works well independently, has excellent customer service and therapeutic skill, and values community and collaboration. Job Description: This is a part-time position as a commissioned W2 employee. We require a minimum of two full shifts or three half shifts per week and maintaining availability for 75% of these shifts each month. Some evening and weekend availability is preferred. Credit toward insurance and continuing education is available after one year working with us and maintaining minimum availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome clients, ensure they have completed studio intake forms, and help them get oriented in the studio. Conduct thorough client consults to understand their needs and goals.

• Create a nurturing and safe environment for clients, upholding professional boundaries and effectively communicating with clients to ensure a positive experience.

• Provide professional massage therapy treatments for each client, utilizing appropriate and effective therapeutic modalities for their goals.

• Educate clients on the benefits of regular massage therapy, recommend treatment plans, schedule follow up appointments, and check clients out for services provided.

• Maintain a clean treatment environment, performing light cleaning duties and completing studio checklists.

• Collaborate with team members and other medical professionals to provide comprehensive care for clients.

• Adhere to all state and local regulations and professional standards for privacy, cleanliness, hygiene, and safety.

Job Requirements:

• Valid state license as a TN Licensed Massage Therapist

• Professional Liability Insurance

• Proficiency in therapeutic modalities, including Swedish and deep tissue massage

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Physical ability to regularly conduct massage for full or half shifts

• Commitment to work at least 75% of selected shifts over a 30 or 60 day period and availability to work at least one evening and weekend shift per week

Preferred Qualifications:

• One year in professional experience

• Preferred modalities: Swedish, myofascial release, neuromuscular therapy, trigger point therapy, cupping, manual lymphatic drainage, prenatal massage, craniosacral therapy, table Thai

• Availability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.
