Welcome to our studio! We’re looking forward to working with you.

For your first visit, we'll ask you to tell us about your health history and goals to help us better serve you. These questions may be completed by claiming your client profile using the link below or you may arrive 5-10 minutes before your first appointment to fill out an intake form in the studio.

You’ll find resources and answers to many frequently asked questions below, but we are also here to help! Please connect with us if you have any questions as we start working together.

What to do for your session:

Arrive — Please plan to arrive a few minutes before your session so you have time to settle into the space. We do our best to start and end sessions promptly as scheduled to respect your time and ours. If you arrive early, please wait to enter the studio until 5 minutes before your appointment time to help with the studio flow and allow us time to transition between sessions.

Unplug — The outside world isn’t going anywhere. Please silence your devices (phones, watches, etc.) so you can be present and receive the full benefit of your session. If there is a special situation that requires you to be “on call”, please communicate with us so we can support and direct you on a good place to keep your device within reach.

Be Kind — Our studio is an inclusive space where all bodies, perspectives, ideas, and expressions are welcome. It is our intention to extend positive regard to all beings, and we request that you do the same for yourself and others in the studio. We aim to create a supportive space where we learn with each other, communicate with respect, and continuously grow together as a community.

Studio FAQ’s

  • Our studio is in the Old Sevier District along the South Knoxville Waterfront at 1119 Sevier Avenue Suite C, Knoxville, TN 37920.

Pro tip- Take the James White Parkway Exit if you’re coming from the interstate to avoid driving through downtown. Turn right at the first exit after you cross the river, and the studio will be on the right after you cross the railroad tracks at the bottom of the hill.

  • There is a shared parking lot in front of our building reserved for patrons of 1119 Sevier during regular business hours. Additional parking is available with open parallel parking along Sevier Avenue and around the corner at Suttree Landing Park.

  • Contact the studio if you need to cancel or reschedule your session. You may also cancel using the link from your confirmation/reminder message or login to your client profile to manage your upcoming schedule.

Please be mindful of our cancellation and studio policies. We appreciate having as much notice as possible in order to accommodate others.

  • Yes, we can accept most Health Savings and Flexible Spending cards as payment for services and retail items. Itemized receipts can be emailed to you for your records. Clients are responsible for confirming coverage based on their individual benefits.

Pilates FAQ’s

  • Please wear clothing you are comfortable moving in. We’ll move in various ranges of motion, so loose shorts and tops are not the best choice for modesty. Please avoid wearing large jewelry, buckles or zippers, or anything that could get tangled in the equipment or tear the upholstery. We work in socks or bare feet, and there are cubbies for your shoes and belongings.

All props and mats needed for class will be provided unless noted otherwise at registration. We have filtered water and cups available to use in the studio, and you are welcome to bring your own bottle to fill. Please unplug, silence devices, and take time to be present during your session.

  • Many of our clients and practitioners are in various phases of recovery from chronic pain, trauma, or acute injuries- so you’re in good company. While we do not diagnose or claim to “fix” these conditions, we are happy to hold space for you and support you in your journey as your body heals.

We’ll get started by reviewing your goals and health history together, and we ask that you keep us updated with any changes as we work together. We may ask for notes or doctor/PT approval for certain conditions, acute injuries, or after surgeries- reach out if you have any questions!

Always let your practitioner know immediately if you experience pain or discomfort during your session, need to make any adjustments, or have questions along the way.
